Arrangements are now complete for our Parish Pilgrimage to Winchester Cathedral on Saturday 10th May.&nbsp;
Our coach is booked, our special Pilgrims Mass organised, lunch tables set and our cathedral guide ready to take us on our private tour of the cathedral.&nbsp;
After some time to explore the city, we end on a high at Choral Evensong before returning to Guildford.&nbsp;
The cost per person is £44 which includes transport, lunch the cathedral tour and gratuities.

Parish Pilgrimage to Winchester Cathedral on Saturday 10th May.

We are delighted to invite members of St. John's Men in Fellowship to a tour of&nbsp;Chichester&nbsp;Cathedral on&nbsp;Monday&nbsp;7th&nbsp;April 2025. This is a continuation of our popular cathedral visits, having previously enjoyed the sights of Winchester, Southwark and Portsmouth.
Our&nbsp;exclusive tour of&nbsp;Chichester&nbsp;Cathedral&nbsp;will be&nbsp;led by&nbsp;a member of the&nbsp;cathedral staff.&nbsp;
 
Outline itinerary
 
9.00&nbsp;- depart Merrow by car (volunteer drivers)
 
10.00 - arrive at&nbsp;Chichester City Centre (choice of numerous car parks)
 
10.15&nbsp;-&nbsp;congregate for coffee at The Buttery Café, South Street, Chichester
 
10.45&nbsp;-&nbsp;take a very short stroll to&nbsp;the Cathedral
 
11.00 -&nbsp;a private tour&nbsp;of the Cathedral
 
12.00&nbsp;-&nbsp;lunch&nbsp;at the Cloisters Kitchen & Garden Café located within the Cathedral grounds
 
13.00 - optional walk around the Bishop’s Palace Gardens
 
14.00 approx.&nbsp;-&nbsp;departure for&nbsp;Merrow

Friends of St John - Christmas Wine Tasting Event - Saturday 6th December at 6pm

Following the success of previous events, the Friends of St John’s Church Merrow are holding this year’s Quiz Night on
Friday 15th&nbsp;November at 6.30pm 
at St John’s Centre, Merrow
Funds raised will support the renovation and repair of the historic Church buildings and graveyard.
Arrive 6.30pm 
7.00pm Pizza and Salad supper. 
Bring your own drink and glasses. 
7.30pm Start of Quiz 
Raffle draw approx. 9.00pm
