The Danish Federation will be holding a Danish&nbsp;Heritage Seminar again this year. It will be held at the Carriage House Hotel and Conference Centre in&nbsp;Calgary from Monday, May 26 to Friday morning, May 30, 2025. The theme&nbsp;is Exploring Southern Alberta, and the Headmaster is Pastor Charlotte&nbsp;Berg, minister at Sharon Danish Lutheran Church in Calgary. Below is the combined Enrollment Form and Seminar Brochure, which&nbsp;highlights the program and interesting sights to be explored in&nbsp;Southern Alberta. The Enrollment Form should be sent to Lila Jensen, who is the Seminar&nbsp;Coordinator and Registrar, as soon as possible and by April 15th at&nbsp;the latest. 
There's still space available to join the fun, so don't miss an opportunity to visit the Tyrell (Dinosaur) Museum, view the Badlands of Alberta, savour lunch at Last Chance Saloon, see the World Heritage site "Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump," and enjoy some Danish fellowship!!

Exploring Southern Alberta

Since the Covid pandemic in 2020 people are no longer asked what denomination they belong to when they are hospitalized. Nor are they asked if they want spiritual care from their own pastor,&nbsp;a trained volunteer or one of the pastors at the hospital.
In short, if you are hospitalized or know of someone who are hospitalized, you need to give pastor Charlotte a call if you want her to visit you.

So, knitters and crocheters, it’s time to get out your needles and hooks once again and continue as you did before.
We would also like to WELCOME people with sewing machines who can make vests from recyclable warm materials, such as fleece, sweaters, sweatshirts and pants, etc.&nbsp;&nbsp;
So get creative, and remember these are for children. Please look in your closets and see how you can help.&nbsp;
Please be sure that the items are clean.
The pneumonia prevention vests typically measure about 11”x 11” (28cm x 28cm).&nbsp; We have a pattern for the&nbsp;knitted vests if you need one. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;If you wish to knit larger items, that is welcome as well.
We have made contact with one of the highest-rated charities in Canada: &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Canadian Food for Children, located in Mississauga, Ontario. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; They donate to Middle/South Africa and Peru, South America. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;A generous donor will pay the shipping costs from Calgary to Mississauga.
